I enjoy most of the clif z-bars, but peanut butter by far outranks the rest. Chewy, very peanut buttery....mmmmmm!

The peanut butter ones were a victim of the 'peanut butter' recall. We had already eaten some without ill effect, but Cliff was nice enough to hook us up with coupons for the remainder. Peanut butter was, alas, my favorite flavor. The Chocolate brownie ones were very chocalatey, while the chocalte chip strike a balance. All are coated with a string of chocolate, making them a little messy in small, warm hands.

The smaller size of these bars make them a great alternative to other 'energy bars' for kids and adults alike. The price also makes them much cheaper than more standard bars. (And they are a much better alternative than candy bars, at a similar price point.)

Our entire family loves these bars. They are great for breakfast on the run,add a piece of fruit and this is a choice you can feel good about. If you compare to most breakfast cereals and frozen pancakes,waffles,or toaster strudels....these are by far the winners! More protein, more fiber,and higher quality ingredients. Also a great afternoon snacks and with all the different flavors sometimes we choose as a dessert. This product is great!!! Target has it for the cheapest price in my area.

My son is on a growth spurt and is always hungry. He often needs to eat on the fly after school or after sports, so I have tried various healthy bar snacks for him. He usually tries a bite or two, then announces they "taste funny" and that is the end of that. I was thrilled when he said the S'mores flavor Z bars were "awesome" and "the best I've ever tasted", then proceeded to blow through an 18 bar pack in ten days. He takes them in his lunch, he eats them after school, or as a bedtime snack. Thanks, Z Bar!

I'm an adult and LOVE these! My hubby and I love all of the ZBar varieties, but this one is my personal favorite. It's a mix of the honey graham and chocolate brownie - not too chocolatey and not too plain either. It's the perfect combination! And now it appears that this flavor is available year around - not just at Halloween anymore, since the "Spooky S'More" name is gone. Although that also means they may not go on sale immediately after Halloween anymore either... :(


Good Bars - A Nice Healthy Snack - R. Grimes -
I like these bars. They have no high fructose corn syrup, which I try to avoid. Additionally, they also do not contain any sugar alcohol, which can give you gas. These bars have a nice mix of protein, carbs, and fat, with fiber and vitamins added in. Although they are marketed as a kids snack, they work well as an adult snack too. A little chewy, but overall, a very good, healthy bar. You can't go wrong with these bars, and you need to try them at least once.

Of all the zbars, S'Mores are the best! We have tried these flavours: peanut butter, brownie, chocolate chip, honey graham and s'mores. Of all of them, our kids like the PB and S'Mores. S'mores was only available at Hallowe'en before but now it's out year-round so I don't have to stock up in September/October anymore!

Someone mentioned a vitamin-like aftertaste; I don't detect any bad aftertaste. All I know is that our 3-, 5-, and 8-year-old love them (and so do my husband and I)!
